Madison Rice, LAC

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, receiving my Bachelors of Science in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona, and my Masters of Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

I completed my internship at The Meadows of Wickenburg and spent several years working as a school counselor/ school social worker in elementary and high school. During this time, I developed a keen understanding of the academic, social, and extra-curricular pressures facing today’s youth. I utilize evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and ADHD specific practices.

I coached high school volleyball and track & field and enjoyed working with student athletes on building confidence, managing sport based anxieties, and the brain body connection. At a young age I found a love for sports and the many joys and challenges it brought. As a competitive figure skater, I learned the mind is our most powerful tool, and hope to empower young athletes with self-esteem and resilience.

My goal is to walk alongside kids, adolescents, and adults as they work towards personal growth and healing by creating a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you!
